The Road to Extreme Rules Continues...

The Draft feels like a distant memory and its another week in my WWE Universe. The DLC Divas have been added into my Universe. It will be very interesting to see if any of them pop up this week. Without further ado...Lets kick off WWE Raw!

- CM Punk vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
Thoughts: Its a remarkable match so no use changing it. The game apparently LOVES this feud now! lol Another good match that went back and forth. Took the champion two Go to Sleeps to put Stone Cold away. Punk wins in a non-title match. At the end of the match Christian, Edge, and Miz all hit the ramp and point at the champion. New challengers lined up perhaps? We shall see...

- Dominique Frost vs. Bobbi Jackson
Thoughts: Time to create a new number one contender for Bobbi's championship. Perfect match set up by my Universe in which to do so. Dominique pretty much dominates the champion and defeats her with her finisher, the Ice Pick. (Razors Edge/Celtic Cross). Will be interesting if the game creates a title match between the two at Extreme Rules now.

- Shawn Michaels vs. Brock Lesnar
Thoughts: Great back and forth match, as Lesnar goes for the F-5 Triple H runs out to distract the ref not allowing him to get the pinfall. As soon as Triple H is finally ejected from ringside. Brock hits a 2nd F-5 to pick up the victory. Poor HBK...lol

- Diamond Dallas Page vs. Mr. Showtime
Thoughts: I just don't understand this feud. DDP isn't on RAW. He's Nitro. And Showtime is new to RAW...ontop of that...They are BOTH faces! Poor DDP...I'm not gonna let my main CAW come in here and job out to put the Master of the Diamond Cutter over, sorry...about his damn luck! Before the match can begin, Styx returns to ringside as both guys stare at her. Who knows who's side she's on. After kicking DDP in the nuts last week, I can't imagine she's out here for him...but you never know! At one point DDP goes outside of the ring and tries to start getting involved with Styx. Showtime goes after him and nails him with a pedigree on the floor. Finish of the match saw DDP do a wake up taunt to hit the diamond cutter, but Showtime reverses it into a Pedigree for the victory. After the match, Showtime is walking up the ramp and Victoria Valentine comes out to congratulate him. She takes his arm and leads him back up the ramp as Raw goes off the air.

CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS:

Pre-Show Thoughts: Um...Wow? LMAO! This card looks like an edition of Impact Wrestling! Hahaha! Wait till you guys see this card. Sure it includes a few WWE guys but looking at this card has me rolling. I did not edit this card in any way. Enjoy!

- Kurt Angle vs. James Storm
Thoughts: One of TNAs big money feuds have landed in my Universe. Freakin hilarious! Lets see how this goes here...After kicking out of the first Angle Slam. Kurt went nuts. Hitting another two finishers before finally picking up the victory. It will be interesting to see if the Cowboy goes out with an injury, art imitating life perhaps? Nope, no injury. Too bad...would have been funny!

- Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam vs. Ted DiBiase and Wade Barrett
Thoughts: Former best friends in TNA are now tagging in my game? What kind of craziness is this!? Is Vince Russo booking my Thursday show!? Haha...well anyways, lets see what this is about. Could be a pretty sweet new tag team in my division if all goes well and they pick up a win here. Won't be an easy task against the United States and Million Dollar Champions. Really fun back and forth match with brawling all around ringside. RVD and Hardy pick up the victory with Hardy pins the United States Champion with a Twist of Fate.

- Robert Roode vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Samoa Joe
Thoughts: Oh no no no, Joe's streak doesn't end here. It doesn't end any time soon damnit! Not till the Samoan Submission Machine gets some gold! So lets clobber some people now shall we? Joe wins in a hard fought match. Tons of near falls, triple threats drive me nuts! lol

NITRO:

- John Cena and John Morrison vs. The Rock and a Mystery Partner
Thoughts: The once again heel Morrison teams with his good buddy Cena against the Rock and a mystery partner, this should be interesting to say the least. The Rock's mystery partner is...Mark Henry. Another heel, yea...that makes sense! SMH...Anyways, Rock and Henry have the match well in hand until Henry turns on the Rock and lays him out walking out on him. John Cena picks up the cowardly win. What a jerk...Mark Henry returns to the ring after the match and raises Cena and Morrison's hands...it was a set up all along!

- Katrina Showtime vs. Jasmine
Thoughts: Not really much of a match here as Felicia Fury comes out and just levels the champion. Helping her friend Jasmine pick up the tainted victory over the current women's champion. Surely there will be hell to pay next week on Nitro!

- AJ Styles vs. Kane
Thoughts: Pretty much domination by AJ here. At one point Vader comes out and tries to get involved but AJ beat him down and sent him packing to the back. When its all said and done a Styles Clash puts Kane away. The bald Kane is just meh...Can't really care enough to give him a push. Wish THQ would have had masked Kane in as an alt attire this year. That would have been dope!

- Eddie Guerrero vs. R-Truth
Thoughts: The referee gets knocked out, Cena comes up and it looks like he's going to help his friend Eddie but he hits him with an Attitude Adjustment! Cole starts flipping out that Cena attacked his friend but Cena attacks Truth as well. The referee comes to throwing the match out. Like I said earlier, John Cena is a jerk! lol

WOW! The game now says that Eddie is out with an injury. Way to lay out your former friend Cena. lol

Post Universe Week Thoughts: Well, it was certainly a fun week in Universe but the thing that irks me is that there was absolutely no acknowledgment of the supposed stable formation at the end of Nitro last week. Well that's fine universe....guess I'm gonna make my own stable and debut them...NEXT WEEK ON RAW!!! Mua ha ha ha!

Blockbuster Trade to kick off this week in my Universe...

After that draft week, I'll admit it had me reeling. I didn't know what to do. And thanks to me downloading some CAWs it completely unbalanced my brands. With Raw now having 4 people more than Nitro. So I made a "block buster" deal before Raw's show. Doing the following...

Nitro Receives:
- Wade Barrett (United States Champion)
- Mark Henry
- Vader

Raw Receives:
- "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

Nitro was pretty light on the heel side with the exception of Cena so I think its a good call to move some heels back onto the brand. Plus returning Austin back to Raw allows him to continue his storyline with Punk and Del Rio. And it never hurts for Nitro to get their United States Champion back! Haha, lets kick things off this week with Monday Night Raw!

RAW:

- Stone Cold vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk
Thoughts: Before the match started it was announced that the match is now, pinfalls count anywhere. Meh I say. Not that great of a match change up, but whatever. Lets do this thing! In what could easily be described as an early match of the year candidate. Punk makes a bloody Del Rio tap out to the Anaconda Vice. At one point in the match Austin and Punk double teamed Del Rio but it didn't last long. Punk ate two stunners but still managed to come back and get the big win. Austin didn't look pleased as Del Rio tapped out, missing the chance to break it up by a matter of seconds, but post match Punk offered a handshake to Austin and he accepted. The two raised each others hands in a really awesome moment. Good times!

- Bobbi Jackson vs. Maryse for the Divas Championship
Thoughts: Although I think I will keep Maryse employed on Raw, I'm pretty much set to push my created Divas exclusively going forward. Bobbi is Maryse's biggest rival on Raw. So its time for her to win the title. Maryse put up a hell of a fight which I attribute to the momentum meter as she's had a hell of a run in my universe but Bobbi hits the pedigree to become the new WWE Divas Champion.

- Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton
Thoughts: Man this has been on hell of a Raw! Orton and Michaels have a GREAT match! HBK kicks out of the RKO at 2 and a half, then HBK goes for his comeback and nails it. But Christian runs out and distracts Michaels which allowed Orton to turn the tables and nail a punt on HBK to win the match.

- DDP w/ Styx vs. ??? w/ Victoria Valentine
Thoughts: *facepalms* Ok, DDP and Styx are both on Nitro. I would have skipped this match over but being a remarkable match I just know that it will show up each and every week until I allow it to happen so lets get this over with. I hate cross over brand matches that don't take place on Clash of the Champions...really annoying. So DDPs mystery opponent is...Mr. Showtime! My main created superstar for as long as I can remember makes his WWE '12 Universe debut in the main event of Raw. Craziness! Freakin awesome match. Victoria and Styx brawled all around ringside while the action happened in the ring. Showtime at one point had DDP tapping to the Showshooter but Styx had the referee distracted so it didn't count. Showtime reversed two Diamond Cutters in the match and finally got the tapout victory with the Showshooter. Showtime and Victoria celebrate in the ring after the match. After the match Styx gets into the ring to help DDP up only to kick him below the belt. Styx stands tall over the Master of the Diamond Cutter as Raw goes off the air.

CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS:

- Justin Gabriel vs. Robert Roode
Thoughts: Wow, I honestly couldn't care less about this match. Ha! I think I'm gonna let the computer sort this one out. I wanted to do Beer Money in my game but with James Storm on RAW now I really just don't know if I'm gonna end up doing anything with either guy. Lets see what the CPU thinks...Gabriel kicks out of the Perfect Plex at 2 and had a nice little come back but it was too little too late as Robert Roode picks up the win.

- Felicia Fury vs. Veronica Payne
Thoughts: Two of the newer created divas to my brands make their debuts against one another on Clash of the Champions obviously looking to move up the ranks for title contention. Felicia is a power house while Veronica is more of an MMA style wrestler. Should be a good one! Veronica escapes the torture rack and managed to mount a comeback only to have her finisher reversed into another torture rack. It was just too much for the MMA girl to handle as she tapped out to the power house diva.

- Jeff Hardy vs. James Storm vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Ax
Thoughts: Kinda lame to see Ax involved in this match. Would have made a great triple threat match of new Raw talent from the draft, but it was not to be. Demolition should be more worried about getting their titles back then doing singles competition...Just sayin...RVD picks up the win by pinning Jeff Hardy. Post match Ted Dibiase returns and attacks RVD laying him out as Clash goes off the air.

NITRO:

- Booker T vs. John Cena
Thoughts: Couldn't help myself from continuing the Rock/Cena story as I had the Rock run in and Rock Bottom Cena, helping Booker T pick up the victory. Good times! :)

- Sheamus vs. Kane for the Hardcore Championship
Thoughts: This was a brawl in every sense of the word. The two brawled all over the arena. Kane got busted open when Sheamus nailed him in the head with the title. Kane at one point ripped the title out of Sheamus's hand which set him up perfectly for a brogue kick outside of the ring which set up the victory, congrats to the new Hardcore champion...Sheamus!

- The Rock vs. R-Truth
Thoughts: Gonna play the match here as the Rock and REALLY hope the AI has Cena run down here and do something. You just got humiliated two matches ago Cena, show you got some guts and show up! And the Rock wins with a Rock Bottom. No Cena, are you serious bro!? Cena is a COWARD!!! Okay, well Cena hits the ramp after the match with Raw's John Morrison and just points at the Rock, I'm sorry...not impressed! And once again, Morrison turns heel. Wow...so dumb *rolls eyes*

- AJ Styles vs. Eddie Guerrero in a Ladder Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Thoughts: This bout was already scheduled as a ladder match, so I thought...what the hell, why not take this all the way! I would imagine if these two could've had a ladder match against one another in their careers they would have torn the house down. After a great match AJ retains.

Afterwards, Austin and CM Punk come out on the ramp and meet AJ and the 3 embrace and raise each others hands, has AJ Styles just jumped to Raw? Are we seeing the formation of a new stable!? What is going on!?!?

What a crazy week in Universe, seems like its only gonna get crazier next week! Thanks for reading!

Draft Week in my Universe!

It's time to shake things up again! Its Draft week in my WWE Universe. Not only will Raw host the draft matches between Raw and Nitro, I have a feeling I'll be doing a supplemental draft afterwards just to shake my brands up for the year to come. Because honestly, 3 moves just isn't enough. Lets kick things off with the opening match...which is the only match that doesn't have draft implications...

- CM Punk vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
Thoughts: Del Rio has joined the broadcast booth to start this match, after his attack on Punk last week I doubt this can be good. Seems like the game is trying to inject Del Rio back into the WWE title picture...But you already knew that. During the match Austin and Del Rio have a confrontation at the broadcast table and Punk uses this as his chance to put a beat down on Del Rio before he runs away to the back. Punk wins the match making Austin tap with a Anaconda Vice! Afterwards Del Rio returns to get his licks in on the Rattle Snake but Punk makes the save. I know I've seen the cut scene a few times but to see the Punk/Austin mutual respect deal like that in the game is pretty damn cool. I dig it!

- Draft Match: Undertaker vs. Wade Barrett
Thoughts: Man Barrett has been on a winning streak lately on Nitro. But Taker when he shows up in Universe is normally a special occasion, and it looks like this time its to get Raw a draft pick. Lets do this! It takes two tombstone piledrivers but the Dead Man gets a draft pick for Raw!

Drafted to Raw: Mark Henry

And the crowd goes mild. Pain Inc. has just been separated...Dats not cool!

- Draft Match: Maryse vs. Layla
Thoughts: Much rather would have seen some of the created divas compete for this instead but its not to be. Champion vs. Champion. I have a feeling Layla is going to be losing her belt this Friday on Nitro...Hint hint! Layla does the job on Raw and its time to see who the 2nd draft pick is for Raw!

Drafted to Raw: Rob Van Dam

The whole f'n show has been drafted to Raw. Hasn't really done much on Nitro yet so its a good chance for him to make a statement on his new brand. I kinda wondered if CAWs could be drafted...Now I know! lol

- Draft Match: Shawn Michaels vs. AJ Styles
Thoughts: The newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion will try to be the only one to bring a draft pick with him back to Nitro against one half of the newly crowned world tag team champions. I would have LOVED to see this match happen for real, but we will have to settle for a video game. Styles hits the spiral tap and goes for the Styles Clash...but HBK reverses and nails the Super Kick! Cover...2 and a half! Michaels goes for his comeback but gets stopped dead in his tracks...AJ finally nails the Styles Clash for the victory and brings the final draft pick (non supplemental) home to WCW Nitro! Lets find out who it is!

Drafted to Nitro: THE ROCK!!!!!!

WOW!!!!!!! I don't even know what the say! The Rock is coming to Nitro! John Cena watch your back!!!

After an exciting draft one thing I will say is that I hate the fact you can't edit the draft matches. If you change the participants its no longer a draft match so you have to keep what the CPU set up, kind of annoying...Hopefully they let you change that next year!

SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT:

Here I will move 3 people to one brand and 3 to the other. Just to shake things up...keep things fresh and interesting...Lets see...hmmm...

Vader drafted to Raw
R-Truth drafted to Nitro
Kevin Nash drafted to Raw
Kofi Kingston drafted to Nitro
Jeff Hardy drafted to Raw
Evan Bourne drafted to Nitro

Should make for some interesting changes going forward...we shall see...

CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS:

- Chris Jericho vs. Alex Riley
Thoughts: Wow Jericho, some WWE comeback, you return on Clash of the Champions? Why didn't you just stay gone? LOL! The best in the world at what he does picks up the easy victory with a couple of Codebreakers, busting Riley open in the process. No surprise here...

- Samoa Joe vs. Daniel Bryan
Thoughts: This match should be epic. But I don't want to see Joe lose his second match in so he has to go over here. Really fun match tons of reversals and back and forth. My boy D-Bryan put up a hell of a fight, but in the end Samoa Joe wins with a Muscle Buster!

- Katrina Showtime vs. Layla for the Women's Championship
Thoughts: You know, I couldn't even wait to get to Nitro to have this happen. Once Layla loses she will be future endeavored like the rest of the actual in-game divas roster. The only one left at that point will be Maryse, which is quite ironic as shes the only diva currently in this game that doesn't have a job. Heh...Her days as champion are numbered however. With all the in-game divas in Universe they hardly ever use your created ones. I've had to free agent them one by one to get things to where I want them to be...It sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Tired of Universe forcing people into matches over other people I'd like to see. I notice I just went on a diva rant there...apologies! haha. As Layla was on her way to the ring, Maryse jumped her from behind. I guess she really does want to be the last WWE Diva left in my Universe! HAHA! Katrina picks up the easy victory and becomes the new women's champion. Bye bye Layla!

NITRO:

Pre-Show Notes: HOLY CRAP! I didn't realize this but there is a draft on Nitro too! 4 Matches!!! We are REALLY gonna shake some things up now! Anything can and probably will happen! This is kinda great as right now Nitro has 4 more people on their show than Raw. I can balance this out with some Raw victories. After this I might have to make some moves manually. I really didn't plan for this! lol

- Edge vs. Arn Anderson
Thoughts: Pretty one sided affair, Edge pretty much dominated from start to finish. Bloodying up the Enforcer in the process. Edge hits the spear to pick up the victory.

Drafted to RAW: John Morrison

The Monday Night Delight comes back to the Raw brand. I moved him to Nitro due to him really no longer being in the WWE....Apparently the game had other ideas. lol

- Brock Lesnar vs. R-Truth
Thoughts: One of Nitros supplemental draft picks is going to topple Raw's Brock Lesnar. I don't like R-Truth's odds here. I'm sure if you asked him, this match is a c-o-n-spiracy! Much better competitive match than the opener but at the end of the day, no one kicks out of the F-5! Lesnar wins!

Drafted to RAW: Wade Barrett

The United States Champion has just been drafted to Raw! I am in shock right now. Gotta get the belt off the Barrett Barage now. Kinda bummed, he was etting a big push on Nitro, he might end up getting lost in the shuffle on Raw. I might end up doing a trade to put Barrett back on Nitro, haven't decided yet...

- Dominique Frost vs. Jasmine
Thoughts: Easily the most back and forth match of the night. Good action for the respective number one contenders of each brand. Dominique Frost picks up the win and another draft pick comes to Raw. Balancing out the roster for the win!

Drafted to RAW: James Storm

The Cowboy comes to Raw, I've always felt Beer Money deserved a run in the WWE. I think TNA realized it as well and has decided to push both men to the moon so they didn't leave when their contracts run out. Should be interesting to see what happens to him on Raw.

- Triple H vs. Eddie Guerrero
Thoughts: Main event time and Nitro needs a draft pick badly. Can Latino Heat snag a big pick for Nitro? We shall see...It took two frog splashes but Eddie pretty much won a squash match. Very surprising how easy that match was. Triple H obviously didn't care about wrestling on Nitro. Haha! But he lost a draft pick for Raw...

Drafted to NITRO: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

Good Lord! Austin and Rock both to Nitro!?!?! What is going on here!?!? WOW! Raw might have gotten more picks but Nitro without a doubt was the winner in the draft this year. I still don't know what to do with Wade Barrett right now. I'll keep you all posted on my decision in my next blog.

Thanks for reading guys!

My first Wrestlemania in Universe!

Okay...Wrestlemania is here, and I can't even BEGIN to tell you how annoyed I am right now. AJ Styles is booked against STONE COLD!!! You know, the guy AJ didn't touch after the Elimination Chamber and the guy who's been feuding with CM Punk for the past 3 weeks isn't even booked! I can't even begin to believe this. Well I gotta make some massive edits to this show. (3 matches must be edited) *sigh* Here we go...Wrestlemania!

- Zack Ryder vs. Christian for the Intercontinental Championship
Thoughts: Zero build up for this match, I'm assuming Christian is number one contender but still, a set up to this match would have been cool. The Woo Woo Woo Kid picks up the win with a rough ryder. Still champ!

- Demolition vs. Triple H and Shawn Michaels for the World Tag Team Championship
Thoughts: This match had a bunch of ridiculous near falls. In the end after a 3rd super kick on Smash. HBK picks up the victory as Triple H is finally able to keep Ax at bay. DX rides again at Wrestlemania!!!

- Layla vs. Bobbi Jackson vs. Jessica Jackson vs. Jasmine in a Divas Inter-promotional Match
Thoughts: Why they couldn't have had a title match instead is beyond me but I didn't notice it until it was too late. Just gonna have to go with it. Maybe I'll make both Divas matches on the next weeks show title matches to make up for it. In a crazy finish both Bobbi and Jasmine went for pins at the same time. The referee counted Jasmines pin for the win. (I was controlling Bobbi. smh)

- Vader vs. AJ Styles for the World Heavyweight Championship
Thoughts: Despite what the game says, the match I've been building to for the last freakin month is going to happen! Vader vs. AJ...lets DO this! Vader did not make this easy by any means, reversing a ton and giving the phenomenal one grief. But after it was all said and done, a styles clash has given us a NEW World Heavyweight Champion!

- The Rock vs. John Cena in an inter-promotional match
Thoughts: Figured I'd make this match since the game didn't wish to book it for me I would do it myself. Miami comes early in my Universe! Two Rock Bottoms and a Peoples Elbow later Super Cena FINALLY stays down and the Rock gets the Wrestlemania victory!

- Stone Cold vs. CM Punk for the WWE Championship
Thoughts: Kind of annoyed I lose the achievement with AJ because the game screwed up but whatever. I'll get it later on. Kind of a one sided match. Which sucks cause as back and forth as Cena and Rock was I was hoping for a much closer match. Punk hits Austin with back to back Go to Sleeps to become the NEW WWE Champion! After the match AJ Styles comes out and congratulates Punk as both guys are the new Champions of my Universe, pretty nice touch!

Besides having to make some edits that should have never ever happened to begin with it was a pretty solid Mania. But now a new year begins and after the draft I fully intend on taking more control of my Universe going forward. No more Mr. nice booker!

See you next time guys! Thanks for reading!

Twas the week before Mania in my Universe...

It's Wrestlemania week in my Universe, the last shows before Mania are upon us and it should be a very interesting ride to the grandest stage of them all. Gonna kick things off with Raw...

RAW:

- Sadly the first match will be skipped due to them forcing that 6 man tag match 3 weeks in a row. Simming it and moving on with our lives...

- CM Punk vs. Steve Austin
Thoughts: I really want this match to happen at Wrestlemania. So Punks gotta go over here...Right? Lets see how it goes...Ok, Del Rio has bought a front row ticket to watch this match...Apparently he has nothing else better to do. lol And Punk picks up a big win going into Wrestlemania. If the game doesn't make the match...I will! I have a feeling I'm gonna have to edit a lot of Wrestlemania...I hope I'm wrong. Post match Del Rio hits the ring and attacks CM Punk with a lead pipe...Sorry Alberto I have no plans for you this Sunday. But you already knew that. ;)

- Maryse vs. Susan Rigger vs. Dominique Frost
Thoughts: Divas action going into Mania featuring two of my friends created Divas. Triple threats are chaotic this year. Should be interesting to see who picks up the win here...Dominique gets the pin on Maryse with her feet on the ropes after chucking Susan out of the ring. Pretty entertaining match up! Dominique previously wasn't ranked so this should move her up by pinning the champion.

- Zack Ryder vs. Brock Lesnar
Thoughts: Since I didn't edit any of the Raw matches, the Intercontinental Championship is NOT on the line...It doesn't mean Zack Ryder is losing though, not on my watch! Woo woo woo! So Ryder hits the Rough Ryder and out runs freakin Evan Bourne getting involved for no reason and distracting the ref...So I fist pumped his face! You know it! Ryder ends up having to hit a second rough ryder to pick up the win.

CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS:

Pre Show Note: So now Swagger is booked in a triple threat in the freakin main event with Miz and Regal in a remarkable match...guess what! SIMMED! 2 Match show now...

- Husky Harris vs. Alex Riley
Thoughts: Only playing this match because I want to pound Husky's face in. Teach him to interfere in my Universe. Can't afford to let the CPU sim this and have him win. Swagger will never win with his 1 overall rating. Haha! On Riley's way to the ring Husky comes out from under the ring and lays him out. That being said...Riley wins in a squash...and that's all I've got to say about that! Mua ha ha!

Oh God! They just restarted it as a falls count anywhere match...WHY! *groans*

- Robert Roode vs. Samoa Joe
Thoughts: I'm almost positive this is the Universe debut of both guys. Unlike TNA, Samoa Joe is going to rack up some wins in my Universe. Sorry Bobby. Joe wins in a pretty good back and forth match. Roode put up a hell of a fight, but it wasn't meant to be. The Joe win streak in my Universe has begun!

NITRO:

- Big Show vs. Wade Barrett
Thoughts: With Wrestlemania being two days away, I don't see the point of doing a title match here. So lets just let them slug it out! In a surprisingly silly outcome, Wade Barrett picks up the victory via count out.

- Vader vs. AJ Styles
Thoughts: Man Universe is REALLY running this match into the ground before Wrestlemania...Can't say I approve...but whatever. I'm gonna take a lot more of a hands on booking approach following Wrestlemania anyways. Fun match between these two, taking both the spiral tap and the styles clash to pick up the victory. If AJ can do it again on Sunday, we have a new World Heavyweight Champion!

- Layla vs. Jasmine vs. Freya Kane
Thoughts: Two triple threat divas matches in one week? Come on now Universe! Stop it! lol Jasmine wins pinning Freya Kane after a superkick.

- ????? vs. Eddie Guererro in a Submissions Match
Thoughts: Mystery opponent eh? This better be worth while! Oh joy Ted DiBiase returns from injury...*yawn* I might even let him win to move Eddie out of the World title picture and into the tag division with Chavo post Wrestlemania...we will see how I feel. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to hit the million dollar dream. If he actually doesn't have it in his move list that is ridiculous! DiBiase wins with a camel clutch! Kind of an anti climactic match rolling into freakin Wrestlemania. lol

Post week Universe thoughts:
Well two days until Wrestlemania and Universe doesn't book Cena or the Rock at all. I'm VERY disappointed. I tried to make sure they would have a match at Wrestlemania but apparently Universe doesn't care what I want. I'll have to do it manually if I have room for a non-title match in there.

Join me next time for my first Wrestlemania in Universe! Thanks for reading!

What Grinds My Gears: Breaking Point online

Hey everyone,

As much as I love WWE '12, Its not perfect. And in hindsight...I guess no wrestling game is. But if we remain quiet on the things we don't approve of, nothing is going to change. Its one of the reasons I started this blog. A simple review is great and all but a constant blog dedicated to my entire experience of the game I feel goes a long way in helping improve this franchise long term.

A couple of things have really started to annoy me over the past week on the online side of the game. No, I'm not talking about community creations. We covered that last week, and while that side of the coin is certainly getting better...It's not where it needs to be yet.

What I want to talk about is the Breaking Point submission system and how its handled in online matches. Because I for one think its broken.

Back in June when myself and the rest of the community leaders were introduced to the Breaking Point submission system we were all in agreement that we thought it was great. Because lets face it, the struggle submission system sucked and ruined submission wrestling in WWE games for many years. We all thought that this was going to bring things back to where it was meant to be.

And while I'm offline, I really haven't run into an issue with it yet. But online, it may very well be the source of a lot of my frustration with the gameplay of WWE '12 this year.

While in June, we were worried about turbo controllers we were told there is a button mash limit, so to speak. Which would punish anyone trying to use a turbo controller. So we thought, great! That works for us, no issues there...I don't think we could have been more wrong.

I'd like to think of myself as a pretty good button masher. I've been doing it for years and I think I can pound on buttons on a controller with the best of them. Now this year, if I'm weakened. Someone can slap a submission on me, I start to button mash...It goes down a bit like its a supposed to, then OUT OF NO WHERE it starts going back in the opposite direction! No matter how hard I mash the buttons it goes right back to the end of the bar and I tap out. I could understand it if I stopped smashing or a I slow down but I don't. I'm doing the same thing the entire time and boom it goes down a bit only to go all the way and make me tap.

I think THQ might have screwed up on the whole "turbo controller" idea in that the people that are really good button mashers are being punished for having that unique skill online. I think their button press limit for this feature should have been placed MUCH HIGHER than it was as I think right now...its hindering the online match experience.

While I have issues with the pin meter this year and its inconsistency online, its nothing compared to how frustrated I get over that Breaking Point submission system. To the point I'd prefer to play all my online matches with submissions turned off. Hell, I don't even know if that's possible but now that I think about it...I want to check the match making options next time I get online.

Do you agree with me? Are you having as many issues with me with this online? Or maybe something else "Non Universe" related is grinding your gears in WWE '12. Leave a comment below and tell the world what's driving you crazy.

As one solo voice, nothing can be changed. But to unite as a group for a common purpose. Change can and will happen! Thanks for reading...Have a great weekend!

This week in Universe featuring a BIG pet peeve I have with this years Universe Mode...

Before I get started on my Universe blog this week I want to bring up something that has irked me quite a bit over the past couple of weeks in Universe that was not present in SVR 2011.

If I change a match one week that is labeled as a "Remarkable Match" it is CLEARLY because I don't like the storyline and I want it to go away. So what does the game do?! It books the EXACT SAME MATCH a week later because I changed it the week before. That's not good booking logic, I obviously changed it for a reason. Let the story you want to tell die and move along. I am the one that's supposed to be having control here, not you!

Ok, now that I got that little rant out of the way, lets kick this off with Raw!

- DX and Daniel Bryan vs. Edge, Christian, and Justin Gabriel
Thoughts: They try to book the same match as last week. Sorry not happening. Heath Slater is NOT going to be a part of my Universe. So my boy D-Bryan will take his spot in this six man match! Pretty fun opener which saw Bryan getting the win with a LaBell lock on Justin Gabriel.

- World Tag Team Championship Match: Demolition defends against Air Boom
Thoughts: I figure this will be an entertaining match to watch while I eat dinner so I'm gonna let the CPU handle this match! I'm thinking I might start having one title defense a week in Universe. Keeps things interesting! Lets see if Air Boom can win the gold. At one point I thought Kofi was gonna get himself DQed as after he tagged out Ax wouldn't leave him alone and the referee was counting him to get out of the ring. Luckily he made it, would have been a lame finish. Both teams had near falls on each others finishers. The match saw its finish when Demolition hit Decapitation for the 3rd time in one match to retain their titles, great stuff!

- The Rock vs. The Miz
Thoughts: Still eating dinner, still simming matches. At least I'm entertaining myself while I eat and it also gives me a chance to see how the AI operates when a human isn't playing. I'm very curious to see if John Cena will attempt to interfere in the Rocks match here tonight...Even though he's on Nitro. The AI really annoyed me in this match. After hitting his 2nd finisher Miz didn't have the smarts to drag the Rock out of the ropes to get the pinfall without a rope break. Ended up being his downfall as the Miz tapped out to the Sharpshooter a minute or so later. No Cena...lame. Or so I thought. Cena comes out after the match with some of his cronies from Nitro as they stare down at the Rock in the ring. No brawl though...meh.

- Stone Cold and CM Punk vs. Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar
Thoughts: Alright, I'm back in control here. Want this match to go the way I want it to. Haha! Not a super excited match. A little back and forth, at the end of the day CM Punk makes Brock Lesnar tap with the Anaconda Vice. After the match, CM Punk raises Stone Colds hand and then clotheslines him and stomps on him. Sadly turning heel in the process. I think I'm gonna end up changing that. Don't really want Punk as a heel in my Universe mode.

CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS:

Pre-Show Notes: All 3 matches are "Remarkable" the main event is that same damn tag match with Swagger in it again. I simmed it. Regal and Truth won...NOW STOP GIVING IT TO ME GAME!!! >_<

Now that its out of the way we have a 2 match card, so lets go...

- Daniel Bryan vs. Cody Rhodes w/ Ted DiBiase
Thoughts: Once the superstars are in the ring. The Ring Announcer lets us know that the match will now an Iron Man match...Good Lord, at least its only 15 minutes. Here we go...Less than a minute in Ted DiBiase gets kicked out of ringside. heh...After winning 8 falls to 2. I kinda hope the game will let the Daniel Bryan/Cody Rhodes feud die. I guess we shall see...Afterwards Ted runs out to check on Cody. Looks like he MIGHT be injured. I'll check the news after the show...

- Daniels vs. Alex Riley
Thoughts: About a minute into the match Husky Harris runs in and lays out both guys. What is with this game wanting to push the people I have NO desire to see or use!? SO annoying! Daniels wins the match with the Angels Wings. Afterwards Husky hits the ring and tries to continue his assault on Riley but Daniels makes the save. Face turn for the Fallen Angel? We shall see...

Post-Show notes: No mentioned injury for Cody but it does confirm that Christopher Daniels is now a face. Maybe I should put Fortune together...We'll see how Wrestlemania goes...

NITRO:

- Randy Orton vs. Booker T w/ John Morrison
Thoughts: I'm really getting sick of the game forcing their "remarkable" matches down your throat. I know I've already said this but when I change it once I don't want to see it again and again until I finally let the computer have its way like a baby getting what they want when they cry long enough and let them have it. Making even LESS sense since Morrison aligned with Cena and turned heel on Raw...Whatever. Lets get this over with! An extremely annoying match from the get go. Pre match Orton has brass knuckles and levels Booker when the ref isn't looking. Of course I can't get a pin off it cause of freakin Morrison. At one point I get a cut scene where Orton attacks the ref and he gets DQed but the match keeps going eventually Morrison gets rejected from ringside after his constant interference and Orton wins. I HATE the Manager AI this year. I can't even begin to tell you how much.

And to make things even stupider, the game has turned John Morrison a face again...UGH! What is this TNA!?!?

- Sheamus vs. John Cena
Thoughts: I'm booking the same match again to see if the Rock will come out on his own here. After the post match thing on RAW I want to see if anything will happen. For the sake of the angle, I will use Cena...John wins with the AA, nothing happens. Waste.

- Rey Mysterio vs. Wade Barrett for the United States Championship
Thoughts: Figured I'd make another title match to keep things interesting. Unless something crazy happens here, Barrett's title reign should be safe. Barrett wins with Wasteland, kind of a squash. I'm rather good with Barrett in the game. Him and Punk might be my top two "go to" guys.
- Vader vs. AJ Styles and Sin Cara
Thoughts: A handicap match with Sin Cara? Really? WHY!? UGH! Ok fine...whatever, lets do this! It takes a spiral tap and two Styles Clashes but AJ scores another victory over the World Heavyweight Champion going into the grand daddy of them all...Wrestlemania!

That does it this week for Universe. Be sure to tune in this weekend where I write about something non-Universe related when it comes to WWE '12. Take care everyone!

Apparently Jack Swagger is the Terminator...This week in Universe!

Welcome back to my Universe blog as the Road to Wrestlemania continues, we kick things off with Monday Night Raw...And no Heath Slater...You will NOT be on my show!

- DX vs. Edge and Christian
Thoughts: This match was originally booked a 6 man and included Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater....Yeaaaaaaaaaaa, I don't care. That's not happening in my Universe! After an AWESOME back and forth opening contest, Edge hits a big spear on Triple H to pick up the win! That reeked of awesomeness...

- The Rock vs. Alberto Del Rio
Thoughts: Obviously a match with a lot at stake in the WWE Title picture here, and that is proven by the fact that the WWE Champion Stone Cold hit the ring during this match. Not being much of a factor however as the Rock nails Alberto with the peoples elbow to pick up the victory!

- Maryse vs. Susan Rigger
Thoughts: I took out a lot of the in game WWE Divas and replaced them with the created ones that myself and a friend of mine make every year. As of right now only 3 of the 7 Divas from the games roster remain on a brand in my Universe. Maryse, the champion gets dismantled by Susan showing that a new brand of Divas are in town, putting the WWE on notice.

- "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. R-Truth
Thoughts: Always nice to see the WWE Champion in action in the main event of Monday Night Raw. Stone Cold = Ratings. I really wish he wasn't wearing the title around his waist though, Austin never did that. He held it in his hand and dragged it along with him to the ring. Hopefully if Austin is back as a legend next year (as he should be) they will mo-cap him a new title entrance...And hopefully a beer bath post match victory animation as well! R-Truth must think there's a c-o-n-spriacy going on here cause Stone Cold just wiped the floor with him! That's it for Raw!

CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS:

- Alex Riley vs. Daniels w/ Husky Harris
Thoughts: Husky Harris made his unwelcome return to my Universe last week attacking Riley, the man who injured him previously in the very first week of my Universe mode...Sadly Daniels has to be involved in this, poor Daniels. After some tricky interference from that pesky Husky Harris. Daniels hits the BME followed by Angels Wings to pick up the victory. While it claimed the match was a "Remarkable Match" I got no cut scene from it...Lame!

- The Miz and Jack Swagger vs. Demolition
Thoughts: I've had ENOUGH of Jack Swagger! This originally was a match that had R-Truth and Regal against them but I switched it to Demolition. I'm going to try and injure Jack Swagger and put him out once and for all....ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Demolition DESTROYS Jack Swagger. Bloodying him up and hitting him with their tag finishers FIVE times! And after its all said and done...STILL NO INJURY!!! ARGH!!!!! Moving on!!!

- Daniel Bryan vs. Ted DiBiase
Thoughts: My boy D-Bryan getting a lot of main event time on the Clash of the Champions lately. He deserves it...I smell a big future push for him in my Universe. Cody Rhodes has joined Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler at ringside. This is probably not good for D-Bryan. But alas, Cody remains uninvolved and Daniel Bryan gets the submission victory with the Labell lock! And of course, not Jack Swagger...but Ted DiBiase gets carted out! Just my luck, smh.

NITRO:

Pre-Show thoughts: What a COMPLETE disaster. This show is HORRIFIC! I'm re booking the entire show!

- Vader and Mark Henry vs. Booker T and John Morrison
Thoughts: Originally this was Orton vs. Booker again with Morrison at ringside, enough of that crap. Moving on! Vader destroys Booker T and picks up the win. No one is tagged, felt like a typical divas match on real WWE Programming, although this one went a bit longer. lol

- Sheamus vs. John Cena
Thoughts: Since I'd love to see if the game will book John Cena vs. the Rock for Wrestlemania I am going to interfere in this match as the Rock and cost John Cena the match! Mua ha ha! Ref bump....Rock runs out...Rock Bottoms Cena...Sheamus gets the win! FELLA!

Note: The game tried to turn the Rock heel for attacking Cena, F that! I turned Rock back to face and turned Cena heel. None of that feeling sorry for Cena garbage in my Universe!

- Bobbi Jackson vs. Layla
Thoughts: Much like on Raw, I'm having a created Diva knock off the brands champion. Eventually my divas division will be nothing but created girls...Except Kharma and Trish Stratus...and probably Maryse. lol

- AJ Styles vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio (Elimination Match)
Thoughts: Figure its time to get the Royal Rumble winner a big push going into his match with the man they call Vader at Wrestlemania. What better way to do that then beating 3 of top guys on Nitro! AJ eliminates Cody with Spiral Tap. Then eliminates Rey with a Styles Clash...and finishes off Eddie with one more Styles Clash! HUGE win for the Phenomenal one to close out Nitro!

Notes: Even though the booking sucked going into the show I'm pretty happy with how it turned out now. Hopefully things will get better on Nitro from here. Just a few weeks away from Wrestlemania!!!

See you all next time! Thanks for reading!

WWE '12 Hot Topic: Online and Community Creations

Hey everyone,

Back again with my weekend blog, like I mentioned in my last Universe update on Thursday from this weekend going forward, I was going to write about non-Universe related WWE '12 topics on the weekends going forward.

I figured, what better topic to start off with than the current online situation, or more importantly...Community Creations.

Now I, like all of you love to go browsing through Community Creations. Downloading other peoples characters and stories, and this year custom rings. But after the launch of the game something terrible happened. The online portion of this game took a major hit and Community Creations has suffered from it tremendously since launch.

Now while I've been able to download a handful of superstars and rings since the game has released, it doesn't excuse the fact that the online was not better prepared for the launch of this game.

While on the one hand. Online matches work GREAT! Probably the best I've seen them work since 2009. I absolutely am having a blast getting together with my friends and throwing down online every night after I get out of work.

The other side of the coin is, that it's gotten to the point where the game will tell a friend of mine that they have successfully uploaded a character and when I go to download it, its no where to be found. That's just unacceptable to me.

We all know THQ is working on the fix to this problem, and if you don't believe that then I don't know what to tell you...because its the truth.

THQ has had a team working around the clock since the launch of this game to try and improve the online experience for WWE '12. And while there has been SOME improvement. Mainly on the match making side, the Community Creations remain spotty at best.

So what do we do at this point? Well...simply put, we wait. And while we wait instead of bitching and moaning about things not working and cursing THQ and their employees, how about we actually try and help out?

Establish communication with them, speak in a civilized manner and let them know of the problems you're experiencing. This isn't going to fix itself over night. As Marcus has stated online already, he believes there is a glitch in the coding of the online that is causing it to behave this way. That's not just something that you can repair with a snap of your fingers and move on like nothing has ever happened. If it were that simple, THQ would have taken care of this problem on launch day.

I know you all are frustrated, so am I. But at the end of the day...the game is a blast to play this year and the online matches I'm having with my friends are the best I've had in years.

Community Creations will be working soon, but for now...Lets enjoy the other parts of WWE '12, there's plenty of game to love this year.

Hopefully by this time next week I'll be able to write a blog about how CC has been fixed and everything is back to normal. Maybe then we can talk about other things. We shall see...

Goodnight everyone and see you back here next week for more on my WWE Universe!

Another week in Universe...what's to come?

Welcome back to my Universe blog as the Road to Wrestlemania continues, we kick things off as usual with Monday Night Raw...

- DX vs. Justin Gabriel, Christian, and a mystery partner
Thoughts: Ok well at least they are following up on the angle from last weeks Raw but once again, Just Gabriel isn't on freakin Raw! Mystery partner turns out to be...EDGE! E & C reunited...That's pretty dope! DX wins a hard fought match when HBK knocks out a bloody Edge with some Sweet Chin Music! Afterwards Heath Slater runs in and raises D-X's hands in victory...*groans* I don't care if Heath had to fight alone last week or not. I don't want him ANYWHERE near D-X!

The game now tells me Heath Slater is a face, I guarantee you all six of his fans care.

- The Rock vs. Randy Orton
Thoughts: Now this is an interesting match. With Orton walking down the aisle right now. I really don't know who I want to win. I think I'm going to let the AI control this match because I can't choose...lets see how this goes! Haha, interference galore! First Christian comes out to distract the Rock and Orton takes control and hits an RKO but then the glass shatters and Austin runs out and starts brawling with Christian allowing Rock to hit the Rock Bottom and get the win, that was a pretty fun AI match!

- Maryse vs. Kelly Kelly
Thoughts: Didn't really want to see this match two weeks in a row but its on Raw and I'm trying not to change things. Pretty much like last week, Bobbi interfered again but this time Maryse was able to overcome it and still pick up the win. Hopefully this feud will move on soon.

- CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar
Thoughts: Another repeat from last week. Obviously Brock isn't happy about losing his title at the Elimination Chamber because of Punk. This time Punk wasn't having it as he stormed down the ramp and attacked Lesnar before the match. Punk eventually won with the anaconda vice.

Overall a solid Raw but I'm sick of the same Divas matches week after week. Come on man!

Before I move onto Clash of the Champions I took the advice of a member of the WWE Games Community forums and created an extra brand. I entitled it "Jobbers" and gave it the FCW logo and proceeded to put everyone I don't want popping up in Universe in that slot. Lets see if this fixes the issue of the never going away Jack Swagger or not!

CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS:

Notes: Right off the freakin bat there's Jack Swagger again..NO NO NO NO! *changes opening match*

- Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar vs. Booker T and John Morrison
Thoughts: After Morrison helping run off Randy Orton last week on Nitro after his attack on Booker T I felt this tag match would be appropriate. Plus the fact that Lesnar has lost 3 matches in a row...I want to be able to give him a good win and stop his momentum from plummeting. Great showing for Orton and Lesnar. Orton picks up the win for his team with an RKO on Morrison

- Alex Riley vs. Daniels
Thoughts: Christopher Daniels Universe debut, looking to pick up a big win here against A-Ry to start things off right! And in pretty much a squash match, Daniels picks up the victory. After the match Daniels goes to get a chair but a returning from injury Husky Harris makes the unwelcome save...only to blast Riley in the skull with the chair. I will admit, I laughed.

- Daniel Bryan vs. Cody Rhodes w/ Ted DiBiase
Thoughts: I'm pretty happy about this! The game actually booked this without me having to do it for them! Awesome! Cody came charging to the ring to take DB down. Honestly I think after getting a pipe to the head last week, it should have been the other way around...but whatever. Very hard match to come back from, luckily I reversed Cody's finisher and hit the labell lock to pick up a big win for my boy D-Bryan! After the match, Ted Dibiase snaps and attacks Bryan with the pipe! Looks like I already have next weeks main event all lined up! :)

Notes: I have moved Husky Harris to the "Jobber" brand in hopes I never see him again...which means I'll probably see him next week on the Clash.

NITRO:

Notes: Ok, normally I'm not big on changing matches on the Monday or Friday show. But for crying out loud! Besides the main event, AJ Styles vs. Vader we get 2 repeats from last week and Booker T vs Randy Orton which I just had a tag match play out with them on the Clash! I will let that match go as its labeled as a "remarkable match" but Eddie/Sheamus and Layla/McCool are being EDITED!

- Booker T vs. Randy Orton
Thoughts: While I hate the fact that Orton is on Nitro now more than he was when he was on the damn brand to begin with...I'm hoping if I let this feud with Booker run its course that it will end and he will stay on Raw where he belongs! So lets punt Booker in the head and get it over with! Oh look who it is John Morrison has chosen to come out to ringside to be in Booker's corner. He might end up getting an RKO for his problems if he doesn't stay out of this match! Oh joy I screwed up and lost. *facepalms* If this feud continues I'm gonna lose it...*sigh*

- Rey Mysterio vs. Mark Henry
Thoughts: During the match the lights go red and Kanes pyro hits as he makes his way to the ring. I figured he would be out here to stop me from beating up Rey but after the worlds strongest slam he let me get the pinfall. Can't say I'm complaining...

- Jasmine vs. Layla
Thoughts: I just put Jasmine (A Heel created Diva) on Nitro. Figure might as well start her off with a match against the champion. I'm thinking I'm going to take out a majority of the in game WWE Divas and replace them with created ones leading into Wrestlemania. Obviously you'll see that go on here as we go along...Jasmine wins this match easily with a super kick. Created Divas > WWE Divas. Just sayin...

- AJ Styles vs. Vader
Thoughts: An EXCELLENT main event on Nitro which say many near falls going back and forth. At one point I started to worry I was pull a Randy Orton and do the job but it was not to be! AJ Styles wins, taking two Styles Clashes to put the World Champion away! The stage is set, can AJ do it again at the grandest stage of them all? Wrestlemania!

Thanks for joining me for another week of my Universe! This weekend I intend to put up a blog which will cover the hot topic debate of the WWE '12 Servers and Community Creations. I'm thinking every weekend I will have a WWE '12 blog, non-universe related post...just to keep things fresh!

Until next time...
